Latin name: citrus reticulata

Oil extracted by cold expression from zest of the fruit

Properties:
Scent is warm, sweet and fruity
Colour is yellow to orange

Uses:
Effective for reducing cellulite
Extremely useful for smoothing out stretch marks
Lifts the spirits and dispels depression
Calms the mind and helps to counteract insomnia
Combats stress, restlessness and irritability

Other applications:
Mildly sedative, it can be useful for calming children who are having tantrums

Warnings:
Photosensitising, so not to be used on skin exposed to direct sunlight or it will cause skin irritation
